As a client, you conclude a service contract with Kurtz Investigations Hanover in accordance with § 611 ff. BGB, in which our fees are fixed and legally binding. Despite deploying highly trained specialists, Kurtz Detective Agency Hanover strives to maintain fair pricing so that the use of detectives, while unfortunately not affordable for everyone, remains accessible to a broad segment of the population. We voluntarily follow the code of honour of the Federal Association of International Detectives without membership obligations and set our fees at the lower end of the recommended range.
Please note: The specific hourly rate applicable to your case can only be provided after discussing all relevant details of the assignment. In most cases, you can expect a rate of €84. We consider it important, unlike many competitors, to follow a transparent fee structure.

To ensure that you, as a client, always have an overview of the fees incurred and do not face a shock when receiving the invoice, Kurtz Detective Agency Hanover relies on full cost transparency. This includes setting all fees clearly and visibly on the first page of the investigation contract, not charging additional day- or time-dependent fees, and including no hidden costs in the “small print” (which we do not use anyway). Furthermore, you have the option to define a binding maximum budget for the investigations in the contract.
German courts have repeatedly determined that detective costs are reimbursable if the conditions are met. Our costs, according to § 91 para. 1 sentence 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO), are extrajudicial party expenses, the necessity of which arises from the need for evidence to pursue legal claims (incriminating evidence) or for legal defence (exculpatory evidence). In legally relevant cases submitted to the courts, it is often possible to have the detective costs reimbursed by the person responsible for the problem, usually the target individual. This again demonstrates the importance of conducting investigations in a legally secure and court-admissible manner. One thing is clear: If you initially pay €5 or €10 per hour less to an amateur investigator, but ultimately cannot recover the detective costs in court due to investigative errors, you gain nothing in the end.
Kurtz Investigations Hanover works with a reputable financing partner who allows clients or interested parties to advance investigation costs subject to creditworthiness assessment. This way, you can settle our invoice and pay the amount later in convenient instalments to the lender.

No flat-rate expense calculation – billing only according to actual and necessary effort.
No postage or telephone charges – these are included in the hourly rate and are not charged separately.
No costs for the use of standard detective equipment – this is also included in the hourly rate. Only special equipment, such as the use of a disguised surveillance vehicle, is charged separately if required.
No surcharges for weekend or night assignments – a fixed hourly rate seven days a week, around the clock.
Flat-rate offers are available on request and only for clearly foreseeable workloads. For certain corporate assignments, such as the recovery of missing property, a flat-rate solution is naturally sensible.
When concluding a contract and paying a deposit covering the assignment costs, you can, subject to creditworthiness, agree on interest-free instalments for the remaining invoice amount. Naturally, without additional fees.
